- jeeeb 4y agoMmm. I think you’re misrepresenting what your linked articles actually say. 1. Apple is moving some of its assembly capacity out of China but the article itself mentions that they’re still dependent on component imports from China. 2. Dell has a plan to move manufacturing of products for the US market out of China. That’s hardly cutting ties. Similarly Samsung may no longer have assembly plants in China but that says nothing of where the components are manufactured.
