Missouri Reps Just Voted to Completely Defund the State’s Public Libraries
- bediger4000 4y agoGood! For two reasons: 1. Creators and their successors in interest can now be correctly economically incentivized to create more copyrighted material: library lending will no longer distort markets. 2. Taxpayers will not have to pay for something most of them will never use. Those that do need what services libraries provided have to pay for it themselves. Capital will be more efficiently allocated.
