Seems to me like a strategic mistake on Substack's part, making Substack Notes. They're too small to get the ire of twitter and this blocking will hurt them, though to be fair twitter is a mess right now.
- samwillis 4y agoI think the issue is that with some of the (erratic) decisions from Twitter over the last six months they were probably quite worried about bing locked out of the platform anyway. They had to hedge in some way, and will have know that would bring risks.
