Just do something local! Find a group that helps with something you think is important to society, and get involved with that. Find a network. Help people who are being let down by what you think is wrong in society. Don't rely on the internet. You can spend your entire life talking about what other people should do (this was more the point of my original post), but if you aren't involved in any way, why should anyone care, and why should anyone even assume you know what you're talking about?
