A Volkskrant-reporter became the target of Chinese intimidation
- Gravityloss 4y agoVery interesting article. I wonder how widespread this intimidation is.
- nobodyandproud 4y agoIt’s old news in Australia: https://www.news.com.au/finance/work/at-work/australia-belongs-to-china-taiwan-tensions-at-boiling-point-in-sydney-hot-pot-restaurant/news-story/8bd096bf42d07d4c0fd7d532e8936704 https://www.news.com.au/finance/work/at-work/australia-belon... It’s only going to get worse, as China sinks its hooks into the larger (and more powerful) European and American nations.
- thr1waway3232 4y agoMore common than you would believe. I work for a tech company in northern europe. We got threatening emails of chinese origin (they did not put any effort into hiding their tracks) because some of our Hong Kong employees took active part in the demonstrations back in 2019. In my opinion Xi's China is the Soviet Union 2.0.
