In their simulation, the highest exposure was about 12 nanograms per Kg per day in toddlers. I wasn't able to get a sense of the significance of this exposure - I skimmed, maybe it's there. Is this a lot or a little? There's always going to be some number that comes out of the simulation.
For context, my neighbors smoke pot and I can smell it in my house and hate it. I welcome any research that makes it socially unacceptable to smoke near other non-participants.
- PaulHoule 4y agoA 100 kg adult would get 1.2 micrograms per day, this claims a small joint has 40 mg of THC https://hometownherocbd.com/blogs/news/how-much-thc-is-in-a-joint https://hometownherocbd.com/blogs/news/how-much-thc-is-in-a-... and this claims people notice theraputic effects from 3 mg ingested https://www.leafly.com/learn/consume/edibles/edible-dosing https://www.leafly.com/learn/consume/edibles/edible-dosing So it doesn't seem too significant.
- version_five 4y agoI think the adult gets less - the 12 ng is for 12kg toddlers who lick more stuff and weigh less. The adult exposure is .8 ng / kg / day. In most places, there's probably worse stuff people are being exposed to in their house.
