The post is from a marketing blog where he writes a blogpost every day. Probably he had to park at a parking meter that day and it prompted him to use parking meters as his blogpost subject for that day, and he just made up some words about them.

- ChrisMarshallNY 4y agoIt's also possible that I've been reading his stuff for many years, and seen it referenced from a lot of different venues. I'm not a marketer. His take on things isn't that big a deal to me, but he has come up with a lot of really good insights, over the years.
