With all the published research out there, and the base of the datasets being out there, and the fact that Europe has boatloads of money it's only a matter of time until there's a European GPTX alternative. Maybe delaying ChatGPT by a little opens up the market for an EU competitor, China style. I don't think that's very realistic because the EU doesn't move fast enough but who knows.
