I filed Bianca under the horrors of war along with the kids camps where the V1 staff got to visit with their children. The book in question is magical, hilarious, scatological, horrifying. There are scenes and themes from it burned into my consciousness as ineradicably as the slow stab from Saving Private Ryan. Like the turd-swallowing one!
