Using AI to find patterns across many patients, mentioned at the end of the article, sounds useful. Until we stop and realize we don't even have a decent way to share medical records across hospital software systems. I'd be happy if the government would mandate that all hospital software systems have to have portable data formats that allow sharing patient data.
