Honestly, that’s a typical toxic work environment except the blacklist part, I had my fair share in several companies before, those internal politics are usually what force people to leave, the good ones unfortunately. My advice, don’t overthink it, it’s just a job after all, I know how it feels now and it’s ok to feel down a little, especially for a junior, but don’t use that as an excuse for any future interaction, and most importantly, don’t let that toxic environment influence you either.
