- panick21_ 4y ago- Increase road ware. - Massively increase chance of killing children. Car literally engineered with blind spots where driver can't see what's in front of them. This is gross negligent. - Massively increase chance of killing a pedestrian in an accident. - Massive increase in chance of killing the person in the other car in case of accident. - Massive size makes accident more like, specially with bicycles. - Higher fuel consumption more pollution As a society we typical try to restrict or make thing illegal that hugely increase the chance of killing people. In the US chocolate eggs are illegal because of the children, but driving a gigantic death truck where you can't see a child that is standing right in front of the car is totally normal. How is that not fucking insane? These high front pickups are proven to kill more children, its not up for debate. The are proven to be more dangerous for pedestrians. Non of this is up for debate.
