To whom exactly? A handful of people wearing tin-foil hats? The rest of the world is going to be happy they can pay $9.99 a month to be able to remotely turn on the AC in their car.
- nirav72 4y agoSure people will people for convenience and automakers will charge a subscription for providing that remote connectivity. But that wasn't the point in context of this article - the specific exploit detailed in the article can be applied to almost any non-connected vehicle in the last decade.
