I would bet that Austin's culture is not the same to SF's culture but there is probably some overlap that makes it appealing to the people moving there.

- thefourthchime 4y agoI've lived in both cities. Austin and SF are pretty different culturally. There is a healthy dose of "Texas" in Austin. Not so much in SF.
