Even ad libitum, the low palatibility and high satiety of potatoes makes you reach a point where you simply do not want to eat any more. For most people that yields a significant caloric deficit.
I did this experiment and it was boring more than anything. Plenty full/satisfied/not hungry, though.
- twelve40 3y agodid you feel like you maintained a decent energy level or spiral into a permanent malnourished slump? that's what i'm curious about, to me that's the biggest downside of calorie restrictions
- mizzack 3y agoFelt pretty normal, really. I reduced my activity level in that time, though. Deloaded lifting and no cardio just walking.
