Question about security ramifications: aren’t APs without x509 set up trivially spoofable anyways? Or is that fixed? I have not paid attention to wifi security in a minute.
- lxgr 4y agoWPA3 has PAKE-based mutual authentication, so with a reasonably hard to guess passphrase, you should be mostly safe. That said, these auto-connect carrier networks mostly use EAP-SIM, which does mutual authentication using the keys on your SIM card anyway.
