I thought the same thing (also been a long time), but looks like this is actually the present participle of ἐλελίζω.

- smogcutter 4y agoYes, Perseus is amazing! And i stand corrected, at least as far as the conjugation. Cool! Another fun bit of that section- the Landmark Anabasis leaves “Enyalios” in place, with a note that this is a war god often identified with Ares, but with a distinct cult.
