Tell HN: Twitter now injects algorithmic content into the chronological timeline
Very annoying. I really only want to see tweets from people I follow.

- suddenclarity 4y agoThis is the most likely conclusion considering retweets stopped showing today as well. So the markup showing who retweeted most likely just fell away. Hopefully it's a bug so it will be restored.
- agubelu 4y agoOr it is a deliberate change, with the next logical followup being inserting algorithmic/promoted tweets in the chronological timeline making them indistinguishable from retweets
