Slightly off topic, but wouldn't the correct wording for this be, "Why paid masterminds are mental masturbators" or, "Why paid masterminds are mentally masturba

Slightly off topic, but wouldn't the correct wording for this be, "Why paid masterminds are mental masturbators" or, "Why paid masterminds are mentally masturbatory"? It looks like the title uses the object as an adjective and it just doesn't sound right to me.
