Can the cars sold without the sensors plausibly be retrofitted later by Tesla service? That would be a good gesture and solution but depends on how completely they removed it I suppose.
- londons_explore 4y agoThe cars without sensors could be retrofitted with sensors, but those sensors are no longer manufactured. You could maybe take some from scrapped cars, or design an entirely new but compatible sensor.
- therouwboat 4y agoWe are talking about car company thats worth 600 billion? Cant they just pay someone to make those sensors?
- kube-system 4y agoOnly about 1/30th of that is cash. Still enough, but also, they can just not pay someone to make the sensors, as they're doing.
