This reminds me of the time in college a friend brought over a bottle of hot sauce (I want to say it was called Mustard Gas? This was ages ago). He would NOT SHUT UP about how amazingly hot it was and how you had to be real careful to only put a tiny dab on your food.
Fast forward several hours of heavy drinking and we were getting hungry. He makes a hot dog and confidently dumps like a tablespoon of hot sauce on it. Takes a bite, sprints to the bathroom, and spends the next half hour with his head jammed under the sink faucet moaning in misery.
Sounds like your booze-and-hot sauce experiment went a bit better :)
- jandrese 4y agoI can absolutely un-reccomend "The Bomb" sauce. Not only is it uselessly hot, but the flavor is just heavily distilled disappointment. It's everything wrong with boutique hot sauces. The Last Dab sauce is not bad.
- v-erne 4y agoYeah, I unrecommend it also, even as party gimmic - it has flavour typical for extract based sauces, mostly bitter, but not in satisfactionary way. I have since tasted so mamy better local super hot sauses that da bomb is standing glaringly out as the worst. I would like to check out last dab one dat, but unfortunately here in Poland it is really hard to get in fair price.
