SEEKING WORK | SAN FRANCISCO | REMOTE OK I've been a software consultant and accomplished poet for over a decade. Having started my own consulting company (and a couple of startups), I've worn pretty much every hat in an organization and understand each role's needs and how to translate between different teams to get everyone aligned behind a plan, allowing me to act as a communication hub. I'm a force multiplier through the three Ts -- Tooling, Teaching, and the above-mentioned Translation between teams. I have extensive experience with Scala, Ruby, Python, Javascript, and Typescript. I specialize in tooling meant to lower or take away the need for scarce developer-hours, and have built a number of low- and no-code solutions for data storage, stream processing, form building, front-end creation, EDI specification for data ingestion and export, complex transformations, and lately tools for dealing with Large Language Models. Currently, I have been helping organizations with how to turn initial explorations with LLMs into productionized, repeatable processes.
