Ask HN: How are you using Copilot/GPT for a coding assistant? Share tips/tricks

I am a bit late to the party but I just tried to use github copilot for some coding and I am struggling how to use it outside of the obvious trivial cases I am using it with. I'd love to hear how others are using it, perhaps more deliberately or just as a nice-to-have surprise. Any anecdotes or tips? Thanks!
