Would an eero help here? The subscription has ad and threat blocking. It blocks a lot of Google search (sponsored results, images) but you’re able to manage it from your phone and it’s super hands off.
Oh the sub also comes with 1password (quite complex) and malware bytes which might stop some after the fact damage.
- sickcodebruh 4y agoI hadn’t seen these but it could be a nice fit. Hands off management from my phone sounds fantastic. I’ve been a 1PW user for years so I might even get this for myself since it basically covers what I pay for my subscription anyway!
- pacifika 4y agoYeah. The phone control is good. The threat blocking is currently on / off for the whole network and the ad blocking is on/ off for a profile. Devices can be assigned to a profile. I put in a feature request to make threat blocking work the same. But the nice thing is it’s on router level so it’s enabled without having to setup a device
