I've learned an amazing amount of stuff from commentators on HN, they are a rich source of useful facts and knowledge. Blocking the site would be a travesty. Frankly, HN is one of the few sites where decent discussions can take place where there are disagreements. Sensible argument and discussion are necessary if a topic is to be thrashed out in any detail. Just because some commentator disagrees one's views doesn't mean one should dismiss them without consideration.
