> On March 14th Meta, the tech giant Mr Zuckerberg runs, announced it would fire 10,000 staff—on top of the 11,000 it laid off last November. i think the 'fire' vs. 'laid-off' language is interesting - just because of the stigma associated with being fired as opposed to being laid-off, which doesn't have as much of a stigma.
