A CERN for Open Source Large-Scale AI Research and Its Safety
- stathibus 4y agoCERN was necessary because there is no business incentive for high energy physics research. Besides, if the EU and the US agreed today to set up a joint research lab, we might have a shovel in the ground in 5 years, by which point we will have solved AGI already (kidding, or am I?)
