It is a good language. But most good language is just never popular.
- Patrickmi 4y agoWe can say “general purpose languages” never gets to be popular There must be a reason of wanting to adopt the language not just because “I like it”
- paletteOvO 4y agoI'm pretty sure there are a lot of projects using some language just because the developer likes it. Even in a company, personal preference could still affect a lot in choosing the language though they might concern more than that. And after that, the language might become popular because some big companies use it/develop it, or someone makes a killer library. Most reasons are just not relevant to the language itself.
