That doesn't sound impossible. Your kids don't even have to play sports. We act like privacy is that important to us but then we go ahead and do things like this. I'm not on Meta side on this but I actually don't use a lot of services that I'd like to and have real inconveniences because a certain level of privacy is actually important to me.
