I think it's the same with AI art, its am awesome gimmick, of course there will be use cases, but ultimately, it's a party trick, albeit a freaking impressive one. Similar for deep fakes, very cool, but really limited in actual practical applications. I remember first playing with Midjourney and Dall-E 2, it was pretty cool but I'm over it.
