Is this the same company as Virgin Galactic? Curious if Joe Rohde (an ex Disney imagineer) is likely to be out of a job soon. Edit: hm, I guess Virgin Orbit is

  Virgin Orbit is a spin off from Virgin Galactic, they are two separate companies. IMO Virgin Orbit was the only one of the pair that had a faint hope of becoming viable. Virgin Galactic needs to fly 100 times per year to break even. Their product is a death trap that needs months of maintenance between flights. Their competition, Blue Origin, has a safe product. The reason why Virgin Orbit died first is because they're in an established market so it is relatively easy to do valuations. Virgin Galactic is in a virgin[1] market, where valuation has a substantial component of BS and hand waving. And Branson is good at BS. 1: sorry.
