I mean the man is surrounded by federal law enforcers 24/7 who would be obliged to take him in so it isn’t an issue anyways.
And supposedly Trump is surrendering anyways, so it’s all moot.
- anigbrowl 4y agoIt's a state charge, but I'm not sure the Secret Service is required to enforce it as they're employed by the Federal government. I don't think Trump's commitments mean anything, he's not exactly famous for his reliability. It seems to me that it could lead to interstate litigation, though I don't see what leg DeSantis has to stand on. Then again we're in an era of theater rather than substance.
