About the binding agreement, I don't really know about this. For me, because gut wasn't collecting any personal information, GDPR wasn't applied. But I can be wrong.
- dcow 4y agoIANAL but you're not wrong. An app "communicating with a server" is a totally normal thing to do even if it's diagnostic information & usage metrics. You just can't scrape people's PII out of their home directory and dump it on a server without consent.
