It looked for a while that DeepMind was far ahead from all competition in the AI race, releasing stuff like Alphafold, Alphazero etc. What happened and it’s OpenAI releasing all the cool stuff now? Are they focused on other endeavors than LLMs? There is also a rumor that there has been a falling out between Google and Deepmind so I’m wondering what the story is there.
