Poor choice of words perhaps, but the further parts explain
- topaz0 4y agoSee my edits for more substantive points, but more generally it is really useful to formalize your argument. Once you do that, it is much easier to see what parts of the argument are on a firm footing, and which ones are inadequately justified. Lots of plausible-sounding sentences about math turn out to be wrong.
