This makes all of Amazon’s many billions of investment in Alexa almost worthless. If there is some kind of “command” plugin to this, I’d love to hook it up to Home Assistant and completely replace the Alexa ecosystem.

- KianHooshmand 4y agoTotally! We actually use LangChain for the OpenAI wrapper agents we give out of the box (you can plug in your own custom one as well)

- qaq 4y agoThis might be bigger market that what you planned originally
- zeven7 4y agoIt almost feels like the tech is there for a DIY Alexa if you just put some microphones and speakers around your house and set up a computer to run it. I would love to see some sort of packaged open source solution for this.
