- nicenewtemp84 4y agoPeople repeat this for decades... Apparently never noticing that they have never ever been asked for the color of their car when getting an insurance quote.

Otherwise, a popular hack would be to get insurance first, and then paint a car red/yellow if that’s what you wanted.
