- karmakaze 4y agoThis is great news. The companies that are interested in controlling a new medium/platform to "extract value" from it should all get out. This leaves space for those advancing the tech and content for it's own enjoyment. It might be slower than having everyone on the bandwagon but it develops closer to the desires of consumers than producers this way.
- Arrath 4y agoI would much rather that, should a nascent 'metaverse' or VR-ish cyberspace ala so many scifi books emerge, it do so naturally and organically, much like the internet of old. Except I fear that the established players of Web 3.0 are too entrenched and jealous of their position to allow it to happen.
