With respect, no it's not obvious to me. And probably not to many other people, either.
If you're going to claim obviousness here, then I think you need to be more specific about what exactly you see here that is "obviously" wrong.
- southernplaces7 4y agoFirst, the context of the clothing vs. the famous religious figure should immediately invite more scrutiny. Second, though it's a bit hard to put into words, the images have a sort of false shine to them while also showing an overdone "realism" that only approaches the grittiness of the real thing.
- bradknowles 4y agoThe incongruity of the Pope wearing a puffy jacket is the entire point of the discussion. So, you can't use that as a supporting argument for what you claim is "obviously" wrong about this picture. The obviousness claim for why the Pope can't possibly actually be wearing a puffy jacket has to be supported by other evidence that is "obvious". And I'm just not seeing the other things about this picture that are "obviously" wrong. And you don't seem to be doing a great job of explaining what else you see is "obviously" wrong, even if you are seeing it. I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt that you see see this as being "obviously" wrong, beyond the very subject of the picture. But can you help us see what you see?
