Using ChatGPT to generate Git commit messages
- mdmglr 4y agoCan’t wait for the follow up which is using ChatGPT to read git commit messages. It will be these types of feedback loops I’m most interested in.
- josefdlange 4y agoI'd love to see ChatGPT read a commit or series of commits, and synthesize the code that they describe. `chat-commit -m "Implemented a new view that returns random images of kittens"` Yields a new commit with new code that does what the commit message says :-P
