We already saw how Facebook, Google, and Twitter royally fvcked the last election cycle, incited violence across the country, and divided us during COVID... that was a coordinated effort between domestic tech companies and government agencies (fact, not opinion). Imagine what's possible when a foreign country enters the chat, especially when public trust in institutions is at an all-time low. Roughly 50% of the American population is using TikTok. Folks ought to chew on that thought for a moment.
