I've kept my distance away from Node.js because I never learned JS in school. I've recently started rekindling my fondness for programming by learning to build things quickly for the browser, because it makes it so easy to share what you built with others.
I'm still pretty clueless about most things JavaScript, but this was a great overview of how the Node JS runtime works. I think Python's asyncio could benefit from a more visual explainer that looks like this. In fact, the one for asyncio would probably look very similar, if I had to guess.
Overall, a great read. I think I need to start getting more serious about how I manage my favorite links.
