For what I paid for my spacious 3 bedroom house for my wife and I, I would have been lucky to find a 2 bedroom apartment close to the office. Combine that with the constant disruptions to public transport here and it's very common for it to take 2 hours to get into work in the morning. I would just quit if they mandated RTO, unless they're going to pay me enough to afford a similar standard of living close to the office I'm not interested at all.
