Nobody ever talks about the monolithic all-in-one framework upgrade? You really haven't come to terms with SPA until you've done the all-in-one framework upgrade, man. It's like running thru a hailstorm of razor blades
- peterangular 4y agoDevs who push for monolith all-in-one SPA frameworks are seldom ones who stick around long enough after shipping to experience what you're discussing. They're far more concerned with the new framework hotness vs. building a lasting and consistent user experience. Just my anecdotal experience.
- sacnoradhq 4y agoRemember the explosion of front-end tools no one uses anymore? They usually follow the pattern of 3 seconds of hype followed by 10 years of digging out a mountain of technical debt from some asshole who has since moved on.
