It's not just a good product if you're 100% Apple, it's only a good product if you're 100% Apple and are willing to accept a great deal of friction if Apple's direction no longer suits you in the future. It's a version of what some people call "high time preference".
Personally, I was taught to care about the future.
- dwaite 4y agoThey have an export-to-CSV feature. That takes a lot of the worry out of hypothetical futures.
- howinteresting 4y agoStill adds a great deal of friction and makes it harder to, say, experiment with an Android phone or a Linux desktop for a month. Compare that to 1password which just works.
