The first time I have heard of Jsonnet is that the Scala implementation is faster than Google's. I wonder if that is still the case.
- jorpal 4y agoYes the go version takes way longer materialize our configs compared at my work compared to sJsonnet (from Databricks). The first time you switch it adds (or removes? I forget) a bunch of newlines at the end of files which is annoying to handle in git but otherwise it’s faster and the same.
