My strategy is to ignore what the domain is worth and name a figure out of the blue, then imagine selling it for that. If I feel resentful then it's too low, if I'm super excited about selling it, then it's too high. Basically, price it at just above the minimum you're willing to sell it for, not what it 'could be worth'.
