We use Jsonnet with Tanka (by Grafana) for managing our Kubernetes manifests. It does take a bit to pick it up properly. The language itself is straight-forward (coming from Nix it was easy), however, learning how to use ksonnet is the challenging part. I'm still tinkering with how to organize things. I don't think I've fully grasped the purpose of mixins yet.
