Who cares if people want to plug themselves it to the matrix (endless Netflix) and not turn wood anymore ? I think that’s there decision ? We’re all having some sort of existential crisis in tech because we are addicted to work, we identify with it. Personally I just look out the window and dream of being outside with no shoes on walking through the forest or along a beautiful non-polluted beach. My home is here on Earth with other biological creatures and it’s where I’d like to spend my time, it’s all that makes me happy. Honestly if money wasn’t involved I’d love to just do wood work, build my own house, learn to sail, grow my own food and I’d be happy with that.
