  TL;DR: Most likely the captain hijacked the flight, depressurized it to kill all the passengers, and then crashed it to commit suicide.

          You believe The Atlantic, is just somebodies blog? I’m curious where you are getting that from. The Atlantic is a well regarded news organization with excellent (imo) long form journalism.
